Financial Analysis of Football Club's Transfer Policy and Players' Transfer Fee Valuation

The objectives of this work are to identify certain patterns of behavior of football clubs with the subsequent determination of their relationship with financial multipliers and stock prices of clubs traded on various world exchanges, as well as in assessing factors affecting the transfer value of players. After classifying the clubs according to their behavior in the transfer market, using the multiplicative and regression analysis, there was an impact of their financial condition on the current transfer model, as well as on market capitalization. a large selection of financial statements of football clubs of the largest European leagues from 2014 to 2018 (98 clubs) was used, and a large set of factors, including previously unused in scientific works, was used to estimate the value of a football player. The result of this work was a quantitative assessment of the impact of financial indicators on various strategies of football clubs in the transfer market, as well as determination of the statistical significance of the factors proposed for assessing the transfer value of a player
