Nowadays, small and medium-sized businesses in a market economy plays a vary importatnt role. A particularly significant role is in the United States, for which the principle of the system of "checks and balances" in all senses is basic, constitutional. Small and medium-sized enterprises (hereinafter referred to as “SMEs”) contribute to the development of human potential, solve to a certain extent the issue of unemployment and inequality, and to a large extent form the volume of US GDP. In the United States, small business is both the sector that forms the basis of the free competitive economy of the United States and the most vulnerable link (for example, in 1929 it was small farms that were seriously affected, and in 2020 SMEs in the field of tourism, hotel business and entertainment services). Despite maintaining one of the leading places in the WEF competitiveness rating, there are many problems that small businesses in the USA will have to solve in the near future. It remains unclear how easily the small business economies “rebound” after the 2020 crisis, intensified by the suspension of activities due to the coronavirus epidemic. social issues. Accordingly, for American SMEs, the problem of increasing competitiveness is of particular relevance.
