Small and medium-sized businesses are the engine of a market economy, its development contributes to the creation of new jobs, and the identification and analysis of the characteristics of a successful business will help reduce the risk of bankruptcy. The essence of business success, the factors that affect it, is the ability to exist indefinitely, while demonstrating the necessary activity, creating and achieving new results. It is an analysis of the success indicators of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia that will help to identify key factors affecting success and determine the further vector of development of firms.
