Implementation of Japanese business principles in Russia

The paper examines the possibility of the effective implementation of Japanese lean manufacturing principles in Russia. Based on the example of companies implementing lean production in Russia, as well as on interviews and expert opinions on implementation issues, the specifics of using lean tools in Russian conditions are revealed. According to the results of the analysis of the cultural typology of Japan and Russia, and real cases of companies, the author demonstrates how the experience of Japanese companies can be useful for Russian colleagues.
