Religious Images in Media Art as an Indicator of Secular Processes in Russia in 2010-2020

The main question of the work is how religious images in media art can act as social indicators of a complex multi-valued process of secularization. The object of the study when writing the work was religious images in Russian media art in 2010-20. The subject of this work is the connection of religious images in Russian media art with secular processes in Russia. The thesis includes an introduction, two chapters, conclusions on the written chapters, the final conclusion. In the introduction, the novelty and relevance of the research is presented, the object, subject, goal and objectives of the research are identified, the research methods are determined. The first chapter describes the concept of "media" in terms of philosophy, phenomenology and art. The problems of understanding the media in humanistic knowledge and in art are substantiated. The history of the emergence of media art in the world and in Russia is proposed. Chapter two carries out a practical study of the relationship of religious images in media art with secular processes in Russia. For this, the concept of a social indicator as applied to art is defined. The problems of the concept of secularization are clarified. Then a comparative analysis of secular processes in Russia and religious images used by Russian media artists over the past 10 years is carried out. In conclusion, the conclusions of two chapters are summarized, the relationship of religious images in media art with secular processes in Russia in 2010-20 is substantiated. As a result, it is proposed to consider religious images in media art as one of the indicators of secular processes in Russia. The volume of thesis 114 pages.
