Analysis and Forecast of the Effect of Changes in Population Trends in N.Novgorod Region on Regional Labour Market

Author analyzes changes in the structure and population trends in Nizhny Novgorod region and determines their impact on the regional labor market. This paper includes deep analysis of the situation on the labor market in 2008-2019, as well as the population forecast in the region until 2028. Besides, measures taken by the state to regulate the labor market are examined and the main factors affecting employment in the region are identified. The work is based on official statistics from the Federal state statistics service. Authour uses various scientific methods, including analytical alignment and component method.
