Strategy Adjustment Reducing Investment Risks during Deterioration in the Global Economic Conjuncture within the European and American Stock Market by the Example of BCS Financial Group

The work is devoted to the study of changes in the investor’s investment strategy during the period of unstable economic conditions.The main Goal of the research is to determine the optimal investment strategy to reduce investment risks during a period of deterioration in the global economic conjuncture. This will let us to realize what private investors really need and which instruments should be used or even invented by the international companies to attract new clients and save current portfolios. Several targets were achieved during the research (1) The theoretical concept of financial instruments such as classification and categorization in accordance with its profiles were revealed and some special features were determined; (2) Internal and external factors influencing the market and investors’ behavior were considered and analyzed in regard of the influence grade; (3) The market of private investors in the period from 2000 to the current time was assessed; (4) A comparative analysis between the leading investment funds in America and Europe was made (America, France and The United Kingdom were included); (5) Last, but not least – the main disadvantages in the current asset management strategies were identified and solutions in the framework of unstable economy were offered.
