Year of Graduation: 2020

The rapid development of biotechnology in the modern world has allowed us to take medicine to a new level, has formed new methods of treatment. Moreover, a person has the opportunity to change himself through biotechnology, to control his life in order to get rid of all sorts of accidents related to nature, and therefore there are risks that humanity has to reckon with. Thus, progress in the field of biotechnology poses the problem of determining the boundaries of their interference with human life. The use of biotechnology has become a necessary part of philosophical research. When considering biotechnology by philosophers, the main task is to identify new types of risks and consider them. This work analyzes the risks that may arise as a result of the application of biotechnology from the point of view of bioethics, the philosophy of science and technology and new concepts about man.
