Development of a Lessee Credit Rating Model

Leasing is a financial lease with the subsequent redemption of the leasing object, a set of economic and legal relations arising in connection with the implementation of the leasing agreement, including the acquisition of the leasing object. The purpose of this master's thesis is to develop a model for assessing the creditworthiness of the lessee. Tasks: - to analyze theoretical aspects of the leasing transaction; - to study methodological aspects of the lessee's creditworthiness; - to analyze the existing system of assessment of lessee's creditworthiness in the company Element Leasing LLC; - develop a model for evaluating the lessee's creditworthiness; - to test the leaseholder's creditworthiness assessment model at LLC Element Leasing. Information sources during preparation of this work were: financial statements of the companies under investigation, price and reference literature on the subject of leasing transaction, statistical information on the market disseminated in the Internet, educational literature and scientific publications in periodicals on the research subject, regulatory and legal documentation on leasing relations in the Russian Federation. The research has been conducted using a set of methods and methods of scientific cognition. The abstract and logical method allowed to reveal theoretical aspects of the analysis of the lessee's creditworthiness, to define the main characteristics of processes and phenomena occurring in this sphere. Application of economic-mathematical and economic-statistical methods has allowed to develop the model of estimation of creditworthiness of the lessee. In the first chapter of the master's thesis theoretical aspects of the leasing transaction are considered. The basic concepts of leasing have been singled out, and the essence of the leasing transaction and existing types of leasing have been considered. The analysis of criteria and indicators at consideration of leasing transactions is carried out. The basic tendencies of development of the leasing market in the Russian Federation have been singled out. In the second chapter of the master's thesis methodological aspects of the lessee's credit status are considered. The concept of the lessee's creditworthiness has been analyzed. The existing models of assessment of the lessee's creditworthiness are considered. The third chapter of the master's thesis contains development and approbation of the model of evaluating the lessee's creditworthiness of LLC Element Leasing. A brief assessment of the company LLC Element Leasing was made. The analysis of the existing system for evaluating the lessee's creditworthiness in Element Leasing LLC has been considered. The leaseholder's creditworthiness assessment model has been developed, and the leaseholder's creditworthiness assessment model of LLC Element Leasing has been tested.
