Factors in Shaping Attitudes towards the North Caucasus Region: Intercultural Aspect

This study is part of a study of the complex nature of communication processes in intercultural and interpersonal communication of the peoples of the North Caucasus Federal District, within the region and outside it. The purpose of this work is to identify a set of factors that influence the attitude towards the North Caucasus. The research methodology includes an online survey and a series of in-depth interviews among residents of Russia. The results of the work can be used for a deeper analysis of the reasons for the formation of attitudes towards the North-Caucasian Federal District in further studies, as well as for conducting a communication policy and creating development strategies for the North-Caucasian Federal District.
