The work is a study on the transport network of large cities. The paper discusses the basic definitions and concepts related to the transport network, public transportation and transport hubs. A review of methods and models that can be used to analyze passenger flow, as well as their application in the analysis of the movement of passengers in the subway, is presented. The research method, simulation modeling, was chosen as the method that most fully provide opportunities in the analysis of any systems. The literature on existing research in the field of underground analysis with simulation modelling usage as an independent system and as part of the transport network system was analyzed. The analysis of the estimation of passenger flow in the entrance of the subway is analyzed. In the final part of the work, an algorithm is presented that can be used to analyze the functioning of the station hall and to make decisions on changing service components to ensure the passage of passenger traffic in case of passenger safety requirements, for example, such as maintaining distance between people.
