Information Security Incidents Analytical Platform Creation in a Financial Institution

In the paper, the tasks in the field of information security, that are typical for solutions in financial organizations, are considered. Typical vulnerabilities, threat and intruder models, possible protection measures are described. The latest information security standards related to the financial sector of companies are indicated. In general terms, information security incident response activities in a financial organization are presented. Also, a cybersecurity analytical platform, the elements of which the platform can consist, examples of existing analytical platforms, performance indicators, metrics, quality criteria for information security systems in the organization, steps to create such a platform. A comparison of analytical BI tools for creating an analytical platform is indicated, recommendations for visualizing of cybersecurity metrics are described. At the end of the paper, the development of an analytical application for the department of the rapid response team is presented, which is one of the parts of the cybersecurity platform that is being formed in the organization.
