In this work, a study was made of the causes and consequences of the unification of rural settlements in Russia. An analysis was made of existing domestic and foreign literature on this topic, an analysis of the media. As a result of surveys and interviews, data were obtained that were used for cluster analysis and highlighting the relationships between indicators, as well as making recommendations and conclusions on this topic.
