The goal of this research is to access the possibility of cooperation between the chosen non-governmental organisations that monitor law enforcement in Russia and the U.S. The comparative analysis is done based on their ethical principles’ level of compatibility, that was found using Critical Discourse Analysis. The thesis finds that several of the researched NGOs are compatible with each other based on their ethical principles and elaborates on the prospects of their cooperation. The existing research before has not assessed the possibility of collaboration between the specific NGOs in the field of human rights protection. This research not only contributes to the study of ethics but also gives practical advice to the researched NGOs.
