Pauline Tarn wrote in French under the name Renée Vivien (1877-1909). She was famous for her poetry and translation of verses. In most of her works she deals with the theme of sexuality and sexual identity. At the beginning of the XX century, the poetess was engaged in restoring women's legacy of the ancient era, while the vast majority of researchers are limited in studying the works of male authors. Nowadays the reception of antiquity is an urgent topic, but some key texts remain do not get any attention from the science community. The study of them could significantly increase the development of the problem (object of study "Les Kitharedes" has not yet been translated from French). Based on this, the purpose of this work is to identify lexical, syntactic, as well as cultural and historical features in the restoration of lost ancient texts and their linguistic reconstruction.
