Simulation Modelling and Analysis of the Logistics Processes at Container Terminals

The research are of this master thesis concerns of risk management and risks modeling for container terminal operations. Shipping companies, freight forwarders and ports operate their business in an extremely unstable environment, taking into account the uncertainty and risks associated with them both with the external environment and with the actions of industry participants themselves. This work should determine the impact of risks and events on the operations related to port infrastructure. The main contributions to the risk management in container terminal logistics of this study are the broad literature and scientific review along with analysis of the current events, but also the creation of agent-based model in the AnyLogic Platform.
