The Role of Social Networks in Building Communications of the New Author with the Audience on the Example of Instagram

This document describes the book publishing market in Russia, its strengths and weaknesses. The main goal of this study is to create recommendations for authors who want to publish their book through a publisher. In my last term paper, I already considered the problem of promoting new authors in the book market, and according to the results of the work it was revealed that new authors at the moment have to increase their own recognition and gather a potential audience so that publishers want to work with them. The research includes quantitative and qualitative studies representing a survey and interviewing. It is assumed that based on two research methods, we can examine the book publishing market from different perspectives and identify different problems for each of the research parties.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
