To achieve the objectives of the work, the following tasks were set: disclosure of the concept of electronic evidence, development of a classification and disclosure of the most common types of electronic evidence in doctrine and practice, analysis of judicial practice in order to search and generalize the most effective approaches to assessing the reliability of electronic evidence. As a result of the work, the lack of a unified approach to assessing the reliability of electronic evidence as forensic evidence was identified, and possible criteria for assessing the reliability of electronic evidence were proposed.
