Legal Regulation on Working Time and Rest Time

Working hours and rest time takes a central place among institutions of labor law, which are undergone to external impact from the incessant development of technologies and the achievements of social progress. In this work, the author has conducted a comprehensive research on the legal regime of these institutions and has determined their legal nature. Scrutinization of existing types of working hours and rest time (including ones in foreign jurisdictions) made it possible to identify their intrinsic features, as well as to identify a number of problems that are encountered in the practice of law enforcement. The author does not bypass them and suggests possible solutions.
