The research discusses the possibilities of creating an original approach in the reorganization of back office processes in accordance with the company's business and IT strategy. The problems of alignment of IT and business strategies in multi-business organizations are being studied. The results of the application of the approach are evaluated on an M&A transaction between a retail company and a pharmaceutical distributor.
