Professional Self-Determination of Middle-Aged Women (30-55 y.o.) and the Peculiarity of the Family Organisation System When analysing the data obtained using the methodology (The Rokeach Value Survey (RVS), D.H. Olson Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale (FACES IV), Carol D. Ryff Psychological Wellbeing (PWB) Scale), a correlation was found between family balance and the psychological welfare of a woman, which in turn depends on the possibility of realising professional self-determination. This confirms the existence an alternative theory regarding the psychological welfare of a woman that is different from the patriarchal one.
