The Reflection of the Agenda in Contemporary Serials

This qualitative study is aimed at considering the modern series broadcast on streaming video platforms as a tool that reflects the social agenda. The main objective of this work is to determine how the social agenda reflected in the contemporary series influences the perception of reality by the young viewers. This study should increase the importance of streaming video platforms and the content they produce and broadcast as a significant player in the media communications environment and possibly as a separate part of New Media. Moreover, the data obtained in the empirical part of the study has practical implications for media, government and streaming video platforms. The research methods were focus groups and case-study.
