Business Processes Gamification

In recent years, the concept of gamification has been widely considered by business workers and the academic community. Despite being extensively studied the term of gamification needs to be more standardized and theorized. Anyway, gamification is being used by modern companies to improve their business processes, one of which is adaptation. Adaptation is a complicated process which includes both adapting new employees to the organization and involving them in work tasks. The main goal of the research was to create a gamified project for the adaptation in the IT - company Macroscop. The survey, done within the research, allowed to study the main ways of personnel adaptation. Also, gamification benchmarking was conducted, and a unique adaptation journey map was created. Considering results of the research there have been developed a game based on the adaptation journey map. So, the use of gamification in the IT company would help to involve employees in the work processes and increase their motivation.
