In 2018, such companies as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon took the leading positions in the list of the most expensive companies in the world. Representatives of the digital economy sector are taking the place of oil, metallurgical and engineering enterprises, becoming the main driving force of the global economy of the 20th century. According to McKinsey for 2017, the share of the digital economy in GDP in the world annually increases by almost 18%, while in developed countries - by 7%. In Russia, its share is 3.9%, which is several times lower than in the United States, China and the EU. A sufficiently high volume of the digital economy in these countries was achieved through public and private investment in the digital sector. The volume of investments by Russian private companies in digitalization amounted to 2.2% of GDP, which is also several times less than the indicators of the countries listed above. Despite the low rates, there is a redistribution of investment between the real and digital sectors, in favor of the latter. In this paper, we consider and apply existing solutions for assessing the value of a digital company.
