Android Editor of 2D Skeletal Animation

Skeletal animation is one of basic animation methods of computer animation, which is widely used in cartoons and computer games. It is used both for 2d and 3d graphics. Some artists use android and ios devices, especially tablets for drawing game and cartoon characters. But they have to copy their drawings to computer for making an animation, because the most animation tools are designed for personal computers. This work proposes an android application written with Kotlin language for creating an animated character or object from a set of 2d raster images. The article describes the structure of a skeleton model, the algorithm of the computation of bone positions, some ways of implementing image transformations and providing an interpolation between keyframes.
