Improving the efficiency of the transport department of the freight Forwarding Company in the Organization of Cargo Delivery in St. Petersburg

The relevance of bachelor's work is that one of the main factors for the successful functioning of freight forwarding companies in the modern economy is to increase the efficiency of the enterprise. This circumstance necessitated the coverage of the activities of forwarding organizations as an integral part of the transport and logistics system. The main purpose of the functioning of freight forwarding organizations is to find the best option for cargo transportation for a potential customer by one or more means of transport on the basis of a freight forwarding agreement, to ensure cargo safety, as well as provide a number of additional freight forwarding services. The aim of the bachelor's work is the development of measures to improve the efficiency of the forwarding organization LLC Afort. In accordance with this goal, there were such research tasks as to consider the theoretical foundations of increasing the efficiency of freight forwarding organizations, to characterize the activities of the enterprise itself, to evaluate the organizational structure of the enterprise, to analyze the economic efficiency of the organization, to develop measures to improve the efficiency of freight forwarding organizations LLC Afort and calculate the economic effect of their implementation. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of practical use of the results obtained as a result of the analysis of the activities of the forwarding organization LLC Afort, which will allow such organizations to function more efficiently in the modern economy. This work may be of interest to heads of organizations whose activities are related to logistics.
