Global warming discussion is the topic that has drawn the attention of researchers all over the world since the denial campaign (Dunlap, 2013) took place around 10 years ago. Different types of behavior models and expressed attitudes have been elaborated and the factors that underlined these models have been highlighted in dozen of Western research. However, the lack of research is presented to understand global warming perceptions in Russia. In the following research I am aiming to show how Global Warming is communicated in the Russian language in comments of news broadcasters in Russian social network - VK. I am about to show what patterns of global warming communication exist, what attitudes towards global warming are present in the discourse, and how they vary in comparison to attitudes found in research about western countries. This research is a mixed-method study aiming to classify users' positions towards climate change.
