Vulnerable Gender, Dangerous Age: Normativity in Russian Encyclopedias for Gils

The paper considers the phenomenon of Russian advice literature for girls throughout its historical development from the XVIII to the XXI century. The author analyzes the historical dynamics in the publication, representations of adolescence in modern "encyclopedias for girls", as well as the reception of readers (based on Internet ethnography).
