Use of Names in Means of Identification

In the master's thesis on the topic “Use of Names in Means of Identification”, the conditions of the legitimate use of names and pseudonyms in means of identification (trademarks, company names, commercial designations) are investigated. The paper considers the approaches of Russian and foreign doctrine and practice to the use of names in means of identification; conditions under which the use of the name in the means of identification will be lawful; conditions under which the use of the name in the means of identification will not be lawful; circumstances in the presence of which there is no use of the name in the means of identification. Based on the study, the author offers a number of solutions to improve the regulation of the use of names in means of identification.
