The Public Administration's Improvement in the Tourism Sphere (the Case of Krasnodar Region)

The present degree work on a subject «The Public Administration's Improvement in the Tourism Sphere (the Case of Krasnodar Region)» is devoted to assessing the effectiveness of the public tourism administration system, on the basis of which recommendations were proposed to improve the work of public authorities in the field of tourism development in the Krasnodar Territory. Through a critical analysis, three methods of assessing the effectiveness of tourism management were selected that allow to conduct a comprehensive and integrated study: a deep dynamic analysis of indicators of tourist development, the calculation of the coefficient of the organizational structure complexity of the tourism administration apparatus, and the assessment of the elaboration of strategic and program documents in the field of tourism development. Through applying these methods in the framework of the author's approach, the most significant problems in the tourism administration system were identified using the example of the Krasnodar Territory. In addition, a comparative analysis of the Krasnodar Territory’s results was carried out with selected regions that demonstrate a similar level of tourism development: Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Crimea, Primorsky Krai. Based on the data what was obtained, recommendations were made on improving the system of public tourism administration in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as recommendations on the application of the author's approach.
