Methodological Approaches to the Assessment of Intelligent Transport Systems in the Transport Policy of Russia

The degree work on a subject «Methodological approaches to the assessment of intelligent transport systems (ITS) in the transport policy of Russia» is devoted to the development of a possible methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of ITS in seven Russian cities (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod). This paper presents a detailed theoretical base on the topic, which serves as the basis for developing its own approach to evaluation, then analyzed foreign experience in this field, as well as identified the main trends in this research area. An empirical study was conducted, the result of which is a rating of cities by the degree of ITS effectiveness, the relationship between the city's position in the rating and the city's well-being was studied, and in conclusion, a qualitative analysis of the perception and satisfaction of city residents with the current situation in ITS and the changes that have occurred recently was conducted.
