Analysis of Complementary Factors to R&D Efficiency

The research consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion and list of references. The point of this research is an empirical assessment of the effectiveness of R&D as a source of knowledge for innovations in the manufacturing industry of Russia and the assessment of factors that increase such efficiency. In the introduction the relevance of the research is disclosed, the purpose and objectives of the study are formulated. The first chapter describes the general context of the problem with examples from the history of innovations, gives an overview of theoretical and empirical works in which the factors affecting the efficiency of R&D as a factor of product innovations are investigated. The second chapter provides descriptive statistics of the data on which the study is conducted, and an econometric strategy is described. The third chapter presents the results of an assessment of the cost-effectiveness of R&D as a factor of product innovations and complementary R&D factors that presumably increase the cost-effectiveness of R&D. In conclusion the results are summarized. The work includes 64 pages, 9 tables, 3 figures, 6 formulas and 38 references used.
