Thesis work on the topic "Improving the information and communication interaction of the city administration and the population (on the example of the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg)" is devoted to the development of proposals that contribute to the improvement of information and communication interaction in the Internet space. In this paper, the regulatory documents governing the information and communication interaction of state and municipal authorities in the Internet are considered. The foreign experience of the interaction of state power in the information and communication environment has been studied. A sociological survey was conducted to assess the information and communication interaction between the administration of the Vasileostrovsky district and the population in social networks. A comparative analysis of the official pages and electronic resources of St. Petersburg in social networks. A network analysis of the participation of residents of the Vasileostrovsky district in virtual groups formed on the VK online network has been carried out. A content analysis of publications on the official page of the administration of the Vasileostrovsky district in the Python programming language has been carried out. An algorithm for the correct publication for maintaining social networks by the administration of the Vasileostrovsky district has been developed. General recommendations have been formed that contribute to the improvement of information and communication interaction.
