The Impact of Financing Structure on the Key Performance Indicators Achievement in Sports Megaprojects

This study is aimed at studying the ratio of public and private participation in the financing structure of sports mega-projects using the Olympic Games as an example. This study has collected data from twenty different Olympic Games from 1972 to 2020. Based on the collected data, two hypotheses about the influence of the financing structure on financial indicators were tested and recommendations were developed on the use of the research results.
