Modeling the Recommender System for the Lifestyle Application

The work is devoted to the development of a model of a recommendation system for the Lifestyle application “One book a week”. Recommender systems are present everywhere from online stores to social networks and streaming services. Large companies such as Netflix and TikTok have made recommendation systems the main advantage of their offer to the client. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the effective application of recommendation systems in various fields. In the first part, a review of the methods for creating recommendation systems and algorithms for their construction is carried out. In the second part, an analysis of data sets for the construction of recommendation systems is carried out. The third part describes the selected data set and on its basis a model of the recommendation system is created. In the final part of the work, the results of the study are summarized and the results obtained are described.
