Linking Frineds in Social Networks using HashTag Attributes

Social networks are an integral part of the life of a modern person. They allow us to communicate online, exchange all kinds of information. One of the most popular social networks is Instagram, which allows us not only to share bright moments from life, interact with friends and find new friends. The aim of this work is an empirical analysis of hashtags for posts with certain geeks and prediction of connections in the social graph of friends based on the analysis of hashtags on Instagram. In our work, the following tasks were solved: a literature review was conducted on the topic, a database was obtained based on users of the Instagram network, a dataset was created based on posts of the Instagram for three Far Eastern cities: Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk; the graph is built on the basis of the collected dataset; an empirical analysis of hashtags has been performed. Some experiment on link prediction have been done.
