Development of Method for Integration of Automated Business Process Data into the Bank's Corporate Datawarehouse

Master’s dissertation is written on the theme «Development of method for integration of automated business process data into the Bank's corporate Datawarehouse». The subject of the study is the process of data integration received from automated business processes. The key aim of the study is to analyze the declared needs of the bank in obtaining data on the functioning of the changed business process with a minimum time lag from the source system and developing an improved methodology for integrating data into the Bank’s corporate data warehouse from its business process automation system. The thesis consists of three main parts. The first part casts the light on the concept of business processes, approaches and notations for their description and automation. It’s also includes the information about the basic concepts of corporate data warehouses, their similarities and differences, and basic implementation tools, as well as an analysis of the stated problem and issue statement. The second chapter is theoretical and devoted to the description of the current data integration process and the architecture of data storage on the side of the source system. Due to this information, key areas of work are identified, suggestions for improvement are formulated, and a new outline of the data integration process methodology is presented. The third part covers the implementation of the proposed solution based on the concrete business process. As a result, the improved methodology for integrating business data from automated business processes into the bank's data warehouse was developed.
