Improving the Logistical Activities of a Commercial Enterprise

Final qualification work on topic "Improving the logistical activities of a commercial enterprise" includes introduction, analysis of economic activity of enterprises of retail trade, a review of relevant literature, development of measures on increase of efficiency of logistical activity of the commercial enterprise and conclusion. The purpose of the thesis is to develop recommendations for improving the logistical activities of the trade enterprise. More attention is paid to inventory management. The object of research is a retail store, which sells tires and related services. The subject of the research is the activity aimed at optimizing inventory management and purchasing demanded goods. To achieve this goal the following tasks have been solved: 1. There is an understanding of how logistics can affect the activities of a commercial enterprise. 2. Methods and models of improving the efficiency of logistical activities at the enterprise are considered. 3. Logistical aspects of the car tire market in Russia are analyzed. 4. The activity of the store and its competitive advantages are described. 5. The economic analysis of the enterprise is made. 6. The analysis of the store's logistical activity is made and obvious problems for solving are highlighted. 7. The store's activity for 2019 was studied and the initial parameters for further calculations were determined. 8. Recommendations on optimization of assortment in a warehouse using ABC-analysis and models of inventory management. 9. The effectiveness of the proposed recommendations was evaluated. This study is a completed self-performed qualification work, which contains a set of reasonable organizational and economic proposals for improving the logistical activities of a commercial enterprise.
