In the modern world, the issue of increasing the efficiency of the transport complex is relevant in the transport services market in Russia and not only. And the key to the effectiveness of the entire complex is transport logistics. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that today there is fierce competition in the choice of transport services, an efficient mode of transport for the delivery of foreign trade goods, and requirements for the quality of transport services for foreign economic activity of enterprises. Accordingly, this will be the subject of this study. It is necessary to analyze the problems in organizing international transport, formulate them and make proposals for their solution. The practical part is based on the optimization of the algorithm for constructing the optimal route to improve the delivery of goods from the city of Frankfurt on the Main to the city of St. Petersburg. The methods used are theoretical analysis and mathematical methods. This paper describes the selection models of logistics intermediaries, including the analysis of qualitative and quantitative parameters, network analysis and models of the optimal order size. The results of the study show the need for practical application of mathematical methods to optimize transport processes. The considered optimization algorithm can be used by various organizations working in the field of international cargo transportation. Key words: transport logistics, international transport, organization of transportation, optimization of transportation.
