Any waste is an unrealized opportunity. The topic of the waste management is extremely important specially in Russian reality. This issue is interesting from all positions of human and government life. The problem of the waste ang recycling management business processes will be considered from the social, political, environmental and the most fundamental financial side. An analysis of the respective companies will be carried out and an optimal working business model will be drawn up, including trends in modern waste management. Development of modern economy and market with creating a new factories and growth of population income promote growth of general, contraction and industrial waste. Waste increasing makes the need of understanding an organization of business processes for waste and recycling management. The biggest problem of wasting management in Russia evolve around municipal solid waste (MSW). European Union counties and United states a long time ago made a decision that better to use and service the recourse potential of MSW than collect and liquidate it. On the landfills in Russia located more than 30 billion ton of unused waste and quantity increasing by 60 million every year. Every person product 400 kilograms of waste each year and only 5% of this amount is sorted and recycled. Total size of the landfills area in Russia 4349607 hectare. To compare this is bigger than Sweden country territory. Nevertheless, the main problem of my research is not only about the permanent growth of landfills and how bad it is for environment, it’s close to inability of the government to dispose of municipal solid waste. Because this kind of inability lot of financial benefits are missing, and all waste industry stagnate. In our days the topic of waste and recycling management considered as a world trend and attract many international investors from different business spheres. Changes in the current situation with waste and recycling management in Russia are necessary not only because the general environmental situation is improving but also because it is a good business and the return on investment be extremely high.
