Modern Migration Legislation and the Role of Judicial Decisions in the Protection of Migrants Rights

According to the Global Commission on international migration, the Russian Federation ranks second in the world among countries that receive migrants. As a result, Russia has developed an extensive legal framework that addresses various aspects of migration relations. The study analyzes the possibility of systematization of Russian migration legislation using codification methods, as well as the compliance of the domestic legal framework regulating migration processes with international human rights standarts. The study also examines the specific features of the legal status of migrants in the Russian Federation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
