This work is devoted to the problem of crossgenre transformation of Leo Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" in cinema on the example of the film adaptation of A. G. Zarkhi (1967). The work analyzes literary and directorial scripts from Russian State Archive. The author investigate how Tolstoy's text transformed into the text of the script and then into the movie.
