Smart City Information Model Design

This bachelor's thesis describes the design of the digital twin of the “smart city” with the restriction to two areas of human activity: entertainment and security. The work consists of three chapters, 72 pages and includes 35 figures, 14 tables and one application. The first chapter considers the sphere of smart cities, defines this concept from various points of view and at different time periods, describes already implemented projects in Russia and in the world. In the second chapter, the chosen method for describing the system is justified, and an architectural model of smart city is created, and the main business processes were defined. Then the model was limited by two areas of human activity: entertainment and security. Based on the described business processes, the fields necessary for storage and processing in a digital double are highlighted. This chapter also describes the selection of technologies for designing a digital twin. The third chapter describes the design process of a digital twin. Concrete examples of the implementation of various types of databases are given and their interaction is conceptually described.
