In this paper reversible data hiding of information in digital images is described. The topic of reversible embedding is relevant and widely applicable in the technical fields of modern society. The paper provides an overview of various algorithms for reversible embedding in digital images, their classification is carried out and a comparative analysis is performed. For a detailed review and improvement, the most effective of the presented methods of reversible data hiding was selected. Method’s quality was tested in the Python environment. The result of the work is the proposed improvement of the selected method of reversible embedding.
