Automated Workstation Development for Heads of Student Squads

This work is devoted to the development of an information system for leaders of a Russian organization called "Russian student squads" in the Perm Region. The system should automate standard business processes in the organization in order to increase the efficiency of the organization’s managers, reduce the number of mistakes and labor costs. The paper with a total volume of 184 pages contains 164 figures, 11 appendices; completed in 2020 at the department of information technology in business. The paper consists of an introduction, the main part containing three chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography, and eleven appendices. The first chapter provides a description of the subject area "Russian student squads", including «as is» models of the existing business processes in the organization. In addition to it, the existing Website which informs visitors about the organization and helps them to connect leaders of it is described. The second chapter describes the design process and contains «to be» models, a use case diagram, and a class diagram. The third chapter explains the development stage, including the application functions and database construction. Moreover, the chapter illustrates the sketches of user interface. The appendices contain «as is» and «to be» models as well as a list of abbreviations, use case diagram, class diagram, database model. Moreover, the documentation such as «Terms of reference» and «User’s Manual» is there to read. The system will be implemented in a work process of leaders of student squads and can be improved by adding new functionality.
