Sustainable Development in Preferential Trade Agreements

The last two decades saw the proliferation of preferential trade agreements (PTAs) and decline of multilateralism. In light of this, the progressive development of regulation of “trade and…” fields occur within regional integration. For instance, legal novelties could be found in trade and sustainable development obligations of PTAs. Therefore, treaty-making activities of the world’s major economies are becoming crucial in global SD standard-setting.
