В настоящей работе мы планируем осветить детерминанты, влияющие на денежные средства компании в развивающихся и развитых странах. Данная тема становится все актуальнее с каждым годом, запасы денежных средств на счетах компаний начиная с 80-х годов прошлого века увеличились на 60-70%. Первые исследования были проведены на развивающихся рынках Basil Al- Najjar (2013) и включали четыре страны: Индию, Китай, Россию и Бразилию. Основными значимыми при этом детерминантами стали структура капитала, размер фирмы, политика дивидендных выплат, волатильность денежных потоков, структура совета директоров. Выдвигались на рассмотрение значимости такие факторы как права акционеров и защита от поглощений.
