System for Execution Control and Resource Management of Python Scripts

More and more companies are using Data Science for their business, having many teams and specialists in this field. Tasks are divided between teams and connected into logical chains of repeated workflows, which with a large number becomes difficult to maintain and run manually. In addition to launch automation, there is a problem of resource management between teams and the execution of specific tasks, which must be solved dynamically using resources of a horizontally scalable cluster of many nodes. This paper shows how to use modern technologies of Docker containerization and Kubernetes container orchestration system to solve automation and resource management problems between teams and their tasks and offers a ready-made system applicable to the execution of Python scripts.
