In the modern world, rapid progress contributes to the emergence of new areas of business, changing customer requirements, increasing the supply of goods and services. Due to changes in market conditions, demand, and supply factors, enterprises have to conduct their activities in a dynamic highly competitive environment. This leads to the fact that modern international companies, market leaders, resort to the creation of new business strategies, as long studied standard principles of competition are not always relevant and suitable for the existing business environment. This research aims to analyze contemporary competitive strategies of international companies in rapidly developing industries of electronic retail, sharing economy and streaming video services, as well as reflect the most successful practices in the formation of the strategy of the companies.
