At the current moment, in our complex and rapidly changing world, there is a constant transformation of organizations. Each organization and its decisions are made by people: the organization's leader, top management, and employees. Most companies, in different countries, come to a pre-bankruptcy state and many of them cease to exist. It is not always possible to explain and analyze what is happening in an organization from the point of view of traditional organizational consulting. Many processes in organizations occur unconsciously. Emotions that appear or are not present in the organization's team, emerging defense mechanisms, and anxieties often lead to a toxic organizational environment. General Directors of organizations and top management have the authority to create a developing organization or a destructive structure that leads to the development of pathologies. The psychoanalytic approach to organizational diagnostics allows you to identify, analyze and highlight hidden organizational pathologies that are very difficult, and sometimes impossible, to detect in other traditional approaches. In this regard, this work is particularly relevant. The scientific novelty of this master's thesis is the study of the influence of the personality of the first person of the organization on the formation of organizational pathologies. Existing approaches, for the most part, consider exactly the symptoms that appear and the conditions for the occurrence of organizational pathologies. At the moment, there are very few works that simultaneously consider the influence of the leader's personality. The main problem at the moment is that there are many approaches that analyze the classifications and types of pathologies that develop within the company. Most of these studies describe the symptoms of pathology and reveal why this pathology within the company became possible, i.e. what was wrong in the corporate culture, that this pathology appeared. However, there are not many studies that are devoted to the fact that behind the initiation of this pathology are the characteristics of the personality of the company's founder or CEO. Since there are not many well-known published cases, we have to rely on the analysis of individual cases or cases where the relationship between the pathology of the individual and the pathology of organizational culture is traced. In order to better highlight and define this relationship, it is necessary to find and analyze as many individual cases as possible, materials on which are available in open sources. There is a second point related to instrumental things - most of the approaches that are analyzed from the point of view of symptoms, offer treatment and relief from the symptoms of organizational pathology, but if the source of organizational pathology is the founder's personality, then it is necessary to work with the personal characteristics of the founder, i.e. work at the level of CEO and stakeholders. Taking into account the identified problems, the purpose of the work is formulated: to study the role of the founder's personality in the formation of organizational pathology in the company (for example, Amazon) The object of research is organizational culture; Subject of research-organizational pathology; The following hypothesis was put forward: psychopathic personality traits of Amazon's leader Jeff Bezos are reflected in the company's characteristics (the desire for infantile grandiosity, reduced reactivity of the Autonomous nervous system, hyperstimulation of experience, interaction with the world through actions, omnipotent control). According to the results of the study the hypothesis has been confirmed.
